    According to Circular 05/2020 of the Ministry of Finance on amending and supplementing Circular 44/2017 providing for the royalty bracket for groups and types of resources with similar physical and chemical properties and the calculation price bracket Royalties for metallic minerals and non-metallic minerals may vary.

    Specifically, land exploited for leveling and constructing works with minimum price for calculating royalties shall be from VND 49,000 / m3 to VND 27,000 / m3, the maximum price will remain unchanged at VND 70,000 / m3. Limestone for manufacturing industrial lime (mined mineral) reduces the minimum taxable price from 161,000 VND / m3 to 63,000 VND / m3 and the maximum price from 230,000 VND / m3 to 90,000 VND / m3.

    Macadam of all kinds increases the minimum price from VND 90,000 / m3 to VND 168,000 / m3, the maximum price remains the same level of VND 240,000 / m3. Leveling sand (including saline sand) increases the maximum price for calculating royalties from VND 80,000 / m3 to VND 200,000 / m3 ...

    Black sand used in construction reduces the minimum price from VND 70,000 / m3 to VND 56,000 / m3, but the maximum price increases from VND 100,000 / m3 to VND 200,000 / m3. Golden sand used in construction reduces the royalty rate from VND 245,000 / m3 to VND 105,000 / m3, keeping the maximum price of VND 350,000 / m3.

    At the same time, Circular 05/2020 announces Article 8 of Circular 44/2017 providing for the transitional provisions of the price list issued by the provincial People's Committee. Circular 05 takes effect from 5/3.
